Formulate a Design Specification

   What I am going to do for my project is create a slideshare to teach 6th graders how to learn the design cycle. I want to make my project fun not to much of a small kid game but i want to make something that they can enjoy.

11.    What are the requirements for this assignment?

       The requirement for my project is to make it easy to understand so that they will not have a difficult time learning the design cycle.

12.  What are the limitations you have with this assignment?
      I think some limitations are that after a while I am going to have to remove the slideshare from the internet.





13. How will you "test" your project?

So now that I am going to make slideshare to teach 6th graders about the design cycle. I think this would be a good idea to teach a 6th graders how to learn the design cycle and how the design cycle would help them in their community. I really do think that creating a slideshare will help a 6 grader learn it because it will be fun.

     So what I have decided to do so that 6 graders can learn the design cycle is to use slideshare. 
So the first idea that I have to present my slideshare is by giving some brief information on what the design cycle is. Then I would present on what I investigated  and give some sample pictures. After I present the information i would present my plan and i will also give some sample pictures. I do want to make this interesting so that at the end they would have a good picture of what the design cycle is and they will not forget.




   IDEA#2

     Another idea I have for presenting my slideshare is just giving everything just straight out and I would give some small description about every step in the design cycle but it would not be as interesting as i would like it to be but it would be in a very short amount of time.

  So lastly I would like to present all the information about the design cycle and give some small description about it and at the end i would make kind of a small game that will review the design cycle and kids will  learn it at the end of the slide but they will like it because they are going to have fun. I would want to put some colors in it but not just any kind of random colors I want it to get the kids attention.

         Well this is going to be evaluated the same way as I evaluated slideshare. I gave picture a 5 because you can put any kind of picture you want. You can even make pictures as in drawings and then you can scan them and use them in your presentation.

        Games is something kids like to use. Games are of a great use because the games that are for kids are educational. Kids would have a great time using this and at the same time they will be learning.

  
      Audio is something that everybody likes to hear. If you do your own personalized games you will have the opportunity to put any kind of music that you like and it really doesn't have to be music it could be your own voice recorded and you could be guiding the students as they are playing.


      Not being shared with everybody is something that not all people like. If it is not going to be world wide shared you don't have to worry about mistakes that you make, and you will just be going to share your presentation to certain students and then you will decide what to do with the presentation.

     The score that i give unique is a 8. I gave unique an 8 because you can create everything as how you would prefer it. You could try to input your personality into it. I also put an 8 because it will be unique and there would be no other one like yours.This would be a great idea to do everything you want to do and the kids wold also have a great time and they will learn at the same time.

     The score that i give videos is a 10. I gave videos a 10 because you can put any kind of video you want. You can also put a video that you make as your own creation. And you will not have to put any other video that maybe a lot of people have used  already. But you would also make kids learn from the video. You would decide how to make your video you can make something serious were you actually but everything straight out or you could decide to make something funny were everybody could laugh and learn.


     
     The score that i put music is a 9. I gave music a 9 because if you make a video you could put a song as background. You can also put any background music as you are talking and presenting your project. Music is something that everybody likes. You would definitely want to put some music in what you are going to present. You can also make a song in which kids can remember it.

day 2-Investigation Reflection

Today i decided i was going to do a presentation vs. doing it in the internet. I decided to do this because i will just have to show it to the students that i have to show it and then i would save it vs having everybody see the presentation online.
